Hi! My name is Alex and I'm fundraising for my sweet and wonderful partner, Miki, who is facing health challenges and needs support to help cover their expenses. Miki has been out of work for a month and a half following a concussion which has also exacerbated their chronic health conditions. Without any income, Miki is seeking funds to cover expenses in the short term including rent, groceries, car payments and insurance, and medical bills.

Miki has submitted a claim for short-term disability but we don't know when or if the claim will be approved, or how much they will receive. If the claim is approved, it most likely will not be enough to cover the expenses that they have incurred while they have been out of work.
