Hi my name is Silvana and I'm raising funds for my sister Helen to help pay for her dog Miki's treatment. My sister has Spina Bifida and is a disability pensioner. She got Miki a Shitzu Maltese cross 13 years ago for companionship after her husband left her. In the last couple of weeks Miki has lost the use of his back legs and has become incontinent. The Vet's have found a mass on his spine but he now needs surgical biopsy to get a cancer type diagnosis and know what treatment if any he can get. My sisters insurance has an annual limit of $11,000 but diagnostics has already cost this much and now she needs to pay an estimated $9000 for the biopsy plus $5000 for hospital stay plus an unknown amount for any treatment - chemo or radiation or both. Miki is scheduled for the biopsy next week. Please help us to help Miki as Helen is determined to give him a chance to live.
