Help Mikey with ICU stay

Mikey Filozof will be a Sophomore at Stevenson High School and needs our help! Mikey has been fighting appendicitis, with what started as a "piece of cake" appendix outpatient surgery at St. John Hospital in Detroit on August 9th has turned into almost a two-week-long stay where Mikey is now in the ICU. Before this hospital stay, Mikey broke his collarbone and had a meniscus tear which has kept him from playing football this season, a sport he loves and has been playing for 10+ years.

The son of a single dad, Mike Filozof and Mikey’s mom Kim have been staying around the clock these last few weeks, so Mikey is not alone. In addition to the mounting hospital bills, both parents have taken much time off work. As their friends, we wanted to do something to help the family. Mike is always the 1st to donate his time as a football coach and is currently missing his season coaching football at Stevenson High School due to being there for his son at the hospital.

We are asking for donations to the Filozof family in any way you can. Mike doesn’t ask for anything from his friends and is always giving back to his community by coaching, so we are now asking everyone to support Mike, who needs our support!
