Help Mikey Recover From Theft & Assault
My brother, Michael Sauve, works as a delivery driver.
On the night of January 25th, a group of assailants placed an order for a vacant address. When he arrived, they stole his belongings and drove away with his vehicle - leaving Mikey bloodied and in need of medical attention. Luckily, they forgot to take his phone and he was able to call emergency services.
Now, Mikey is home recovering from his injuries and faces a mountain of uncertainty.
The car, though reportedly safe in police custody, now needs repairs attributed to reckless driving during the high-speed pursuit. Without a vehicle, it makes it substantially more difficult to get essential items like groceries or pain medication; and this is on top of difficulties related to the pandemic.
Donations will be put toward rent and utilities first, so he can focus on physical recovery rather than needing to work immediately. Car repair fees can vary wildly, so depending on what is necessary to be done, further funds raised will be split between that and medical bills / legal fees.
Thank you so much for your kind consideration, every bit helps!
