Help Mikey recover from his Snowboarding Accident

Hi everyone, this is the official go fund me for Michael Gillis and his unfortunate accident while snowboarding in Winter Park, Colorado. After a long trip to Denver from Michigan, Mikey was struck with an unfortunate illness immobilizing him for the first 2 days of a 4-day vacation. On the 3rd day, he rose in good health, filled with excitement of tackling the mighty slopes of winter park. With confidence, he flew down the top of the mountain without a single doubt of mistake. Mikey finally came to his final run, an inferior slope that caught him slipping… literally. It was discussed amongst his friends that the bar at the end of the ride was their next source of vacation fun. Little did he know the obstacles he would encounter would send him screaming into the Emergency Room just next door. In his attempt to reach an ice cold beer, Mikey was faced with a tough decision. He had the choice of completing a double back flip, or saving an innocent child. As we all know, Mikey chose to save the child. Mid second backflip, Mikey bailed in order to successfully move out of the way of a sweet 5 year old boy. In this event he fell onto his left arm, shattering his humerus in 3 places. A completely selfless act that now has Mikey stuck with incredible medical bills (having surgery) and out of work for possibly 2-3 months depending on recovery progress. Along with that, there’s expenses of staying in Denver hotels, canceling flights (non-refundable) and gas to get back to Michigan. All together it’s just too overwhelming. Let’s help Mikey have a stress-free quick recovery to get back to work. Thank you!
