I'm writing this on behalf of one of my closest friends Mikey. Many of you know them. But for those of you who dont, they are just the kindest, most caring, and loving creature out there.

October has been incredibly rough on them. Three days ago their car was stolen. Inside of their car was their wallet, all their cash and cards, all their prized Magic cards, and many other invaluable items. Not the least of which being their social security card and ID. The cash included their rent money for this month, and without ID they cannot even go to the bank to draw cash out. They have been left completely barren.

Unfortunately, the pain does stop there. Two nights ago they were hit by a car - the very car that was stolen from them the night before. So now not only are they missing all of their worldly possessions, but they are also gravely injured with massive hospital bills. They lost one of their pinkies and broke five ribs in the process. While they are being taken care of now, this has placed a huge damper on their lives.

So, I am writing you all today in an effort to please help my dear friend get their life back on track. Some of the things we need to take care of are getting their important documents again. For this they need to go to California as that's where it was originally issued. They also need a way to pay their rent for this month or risk eviction. They need money for a ride sharing service as they are no longer able to drive. But, more than anything, they need to find a way to just survive until they can recuperate. Mikey works in construction. As it stands right now, they will be out for at least a month. Possibly permanently. During this time they really need a way to be able to feed and take care of themselves.

So Im asking you, from the bottom of my heart, to help my friend not become homeless, not have to push themselves to go back to work before they are healed, and to have a way to feed themselves until we can get something else figured out. Thank you.
