Help Mike's Family Recover from Hurricane Helene

Hi. My name is Mike. We live in Greenwood, South Carolina. We are victims of Hurricane Helene. I don’t know where to even start with all of the destruction that this hurricane has caused.

We are now on day seven of having no power, and they are anticipating that it's going to be a lot longer before we get power. All of our frozen food and refrigerated food is bad, and we had to throw it all away. All of our money went to getting supplies to cook with and what fuel and ice we could get. As we live paycheck to paycheck and have no savings like most Americans, my job has been halted and isn’t supposed to start back up for another week. All of the money raised will go toward getting my insulin, food, and living expenses. So, for the first time in my life, I am asking for help from the internet community in this desperate time of need.
