Hi there everyone. This is Coni. We’re starting a GoFundMe page for my husband, Mike.

If you don’t know, Mike was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) over 25 years ago. It’s an awful disease that has slowly and permanently damaged the communication between Mike’s brain and body and has no cure. MS has caused him to be wheelchair bound, but honestly, Mike has done a remarkable job staying independent for this long.

If you do know Mike, you know he never brings any of this up. He’s the type of guy that always asks how YOU are doing, and it’s one of the many reasons I love him.

Mike’s condition has progressively worsened over the decades. There have been many physical, medical and financial setbacks, but he’s recently had a very significant one. He is currently at a rehab facility and is working on building up his strength, so he can come back home.

Mike does have health insurance; however, it only covers a portion of the bills. We are hoping to raise enough money to cover the difference along with additional home healthcare costs going forward.

It's hard to ask for help, but Mike has been dealt a really bad hand. As many of you know, Mike is a very kind and caring person who could use some help in getting through this tough time.
