Help Mike With Bills During His Recovery
Donation protected
March 30th 2019 Mike Cieslinski went to the emergency room thinking his back was injured. It wasn't that easy. It escalated from there into bacterial meningitis, pneumonia, collapsed lung, breathing tube, sepsis, a blood clot in his leg, and a medically induced coma. He still has patches of abscess running from the base of his scull, along his spine, to his tailbone which may require surgery to remove. Mike lost all of his hearing in his right ear, and has partial hearing loss in his left. He's gaining strength every day at Physical Therapy to ditch the walker for a cane.
All of his income has stopped as of May 30th with his official last day with his job being June 25th. He hasn't worked in over 2 1/2 months.
He has enough to pay his basic bills (not including medical bills, food, or any extras) through June. As of July 1, he is tapped out.
Mike has an important neurologist appointment mid-August to see when he's going to be able to go back to work or whether lower back surgery will be necessary. If cleared for work, September 1st is a fingers-crossed date, but he won't get a paycheck immediately.
Can you help Mike get back on his feet literally and financially?
