Help Mike Wezalski get eye surgery! Mike is a 2 year old kitty that was brought into the Tift County Animal Shelter at 4 weeks old. It was clear that this little kitten had some serious head trama. After being examined by the vet, in was concluded that due to severe brain swelling, his left eye had ruptured and his right eye had severe scaring. On top of his eyes being the worst, he also had multiple bone fractures to his ribs and legs. After extensive treatments over the past 2 years, this strong little cat with the eager to thrive is now in the clear for eye surgery! Mike was a foster that I had taken in while attending ABAC. In the same week, I also received a call from back home (Florida) that my dad had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Mike has helped me get through more mental battles than I can count regardless of his own pain. He has been by my side every step of the way and I couldn't imagine a life without him.
