For anyone inquiring about my brother, Mike Jameson, here is a brief overview of what is going on with him. He had walking pneumonia that didn’t really respond to antibiotics and ended up going to the ER with weakness, fatigue, and general flu-like symptoms. He ended up with an infectious process that led doctors to drain some fluid from his lungs that they thought looked suspicious, which led to a bronchoscopy with a biopsy of enlarged lymph nodes. Mike has had a soft tissue mass in his chest since 2015 that was referred to as benign in my presence, but it actually was a very low-grade synovial sarcoma. That mass has not grown substantially, but there is another mass that popped up very close to it, not certain of its etiology at this point. Due to his diabetes, he is having complications with his liver as well. So that being said, Mike has a lot of stuff going on. I know he has such great supportive friendships seeing all of these comments and well wishes. He would love to have visitors if you are so inclined. He is in room 2087 at St. Charles Hospital.
As you know, Mike is self-employed and always finds a way to make ends meet at the end of the day. I’m starting a GoFundMe account for him and with our support, I’m hoping when he finally does get discharged he doesn’t have to worry about his bills for a minute and he can heal and take on whatever he is facing. Anything helps and I appreciate your help supporting him in his time of need. The guy literally would give anything he has to help someone. I really want to help him now. Thank you so much for caring about my brother.
