Hi, my name is Natasha, and I am the sister-in-law of Mike “The Handy Man” Potvin.
Mike has always been the guy you can count on — a helping hand when something needs fixing, advice on a project, or simply a friend to grab lunch or a beer with. He’s the one people call when they need support.
Now, Mike needs ours.
A Devastating Diagnosis
After several months of stroke-like symptoms, doctors discovered that Mike has an aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer called Glioblastoma.
He has already undergone major brain surgery to remove and biopsy the tumor. During this process, it was also discovered that Mike has a tumor on his kidney, which will require surgical removal in the coming weeks.
How This Has Impacted the Family
Anyone who knows Mike knows his heart — he would drop everything in a heartbeat to help someone else. But today, he cannot return to the job he loves or continue being “the go-to guy” at home.
His devoted wife, Marie, has left her employment to care for him full-time.
Together, they now face not only the emotional toll of this diagnosis, but also significant financial strain:
• Countless medical appointments
• Hospital parking and medications
• Specialized equipment and home adjustments to keep Mike comfortable
• Everyday household and food costs
All of this comes at a time when very little income is being generated for their family.
How You Can Help
This is our chance to give back to Mike, who has given so much to others. By donating, sharing, and sending your love, you can help ease the burden on the Potvin family so they can focus on what truly matters: time together.
Every donation, big or small, will make a difference. Every share of this campaign will extend its reach. And every kind word or prayer will bring comfort to Mike and Marie on this journey.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting Mike, Marie, and the Potvin family.
