My name is Michael Jefferson, I'm a single father of 5 kids. On November 28, my 14yr old daughter was caught in crossfire and tragically shot in the head. As she's undergoing extensive treatment, I'm unable to provide for myself and her financially. Due to the severity of her condition I'm unsure when I'll be able to return back to work. It pains me to ask for anything if it wasn't genuinely needed but at this moment anything of any amount will help, along with continuous prayers for myself and my child. Imagine being on your way home from doing laundry and you get a call that your 14yr old daughter just got tragically shot in the head. I immediately tried calling my baby's phone and got no answer. I then called the person who called me to see where my baby was and I immediately rushed to be with her. She was with four other people one of which who passed away. Since that tragic sunday evening, I have been by her bedside with her as she continues to fight for her life. Asking for all prayers over us as we aim to push through this tragedy.
