Hi, my name is Jeff, and I’m writing on behalf of my beloved brother-in-law, Mike. After a long and courageous fight with stage 4 cancer, he is now in the final stages of his battle and will soon be entering hospice care. It’s a heartbreaking reality that none of us ever wanted to face, but one we have no choice in.

Mike’s story isn’t defined by cancer. He’s a devoted husband, proud dad of five, loving big brother, and veteran who spent years serving our country with honor. At home, he has always been the steady, generous one; the role model who gave freely of his time, energy, and love. His humor, warmth, and selflessness have left a lasting imprint on everyone who knows him.

It’s difficult for us to ask for help, especially because Mike and his wife Nancy are usually the first ones to offer it when others are in need. Right now, Nancy is taking unpaid leave to be with Mike, and without any PTO hours, even the family’s regular monthly expenses have become a heavy burden. Your support will help with everyday needs and also with final arrangements, so that Nancy can focus fully on caring for Mike and being by his side.
