Michael Wayne Skaggs II, 36, of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi passed away on August 25, 2024 at Methodist Hospital of Olive Branch. He was born on November 23, 1987 in Memphis, Tennessee, graduated from Hernando High School and earned his associate’s degree in business administration at Northwest Mississippi Junior College. Michael loved his family unconditionally and enjoyed the outdoors, woodworking and most of all camping out in the living room with his son, Bohannon every weekend.
Visitation will be from 12 pm until a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 2 pm on Wednesday - August 28, 2024 at Brantley-Phillips Funeral Home - 2470 Hwy 51 S - Hernando, Mississippi. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Kelsie and his son, Michael Bohannon Skaggs of Lake Cormorant, Mississippi.
He also leaves behind his mother, Barbara Stacks and her husband, Benny of Hernando, Mississippi, his father, Mickey Skaggs of Tunica, Mississippi, his brother, Brandon Skaggs of Nashville, Tennessee and his two stepbrothers, Jay Stacks and his wife, Kelsey of Southaven, Mississippi and Brandon Stacks of Belden, Mississippi.
