Help Mike Sholty and His Family Through the Fight Ahead

If you’ve ever met Mike Sholty, chances are you’ve heard him before you saw him. Maybe it was his unmistakable “Welcome in!” as you walked through the door, the sound of him belting out a favorite song, telling a story that had everyone laughing, or simply offering a helping hand. Mike has a way of making everyone feel like family. He has a heart bigger than Texas and has spent years pouring his time, generosity, and love into his family, friends, customers, and community.

Last Sunday, while visiting family in Southern California, Mike suffered a massive stroke. He remains sedated as his loved ones stay by his side, hoping and praying for healing one day at a time.

Right now, the road ahead is uncertain. His family is focused entirely on being with him, making difficult decisions, and taking each day as it comes. As you can imagine, the financial burden is already growing. In addition to travel, lodging, meals, and time away from work, Mike does not have traditional health insurance, making the medical expenses especially overwhelming.

We’re asking for your support to help ease those burdens so Mike’s family can focus on what matters most: being together and advocating for him during this incredibly difficult time. Any funds raised will go toward his immediate medical and family expenses, as well as whatever needs may arise in the days and weeks ahead.
