Help Mike & Sharon Staeger Recover from Hurricane Milton!

Our great friends, Mike Staeger and Sharon Dolan, need our help!

The graduates of Woodbury High School and West Deptford (Classes of 1975) have been married for more than 40 years, and their home and life's possessions were just completely wiped out in Hurricane Milton.

They've been living in the Spanish Lakes section of Fort Pierce, FL for over 16 years. It wasn't the hurricane that destroyed their home; it was a tornado that ripped through the area hours before. They were lucky enough to huddle in a bathroom shower before the tornado pulled off the back of their home.

They owned their modular home, not the land, and the place was not insured. They're starting over completely. I'm calling on former classmates and the great friends they've made throughout the country to help them get back on their feet with financial donations.

They have a damaged truck and that's about it. They are safe for now with a neighbor giving them temporary shelter. Let's rally to give them financial footing to move forward from this disaster.

They are done with Florida, and will use the funds to start over, travel up the coast, visit friends and decide where they want to rent an apartment for their next chapter.

I'm Dave Thompson (WHS 75), and Mike and Sharon have been a huge part of my life and so many others throughout South Jersey, Rhode Island, and Utah, and where ever their RV took them over the years. They always opened their homes to visitors, let's open our hearts to help them.
