Vau de Vire founders Mike and Shannon Gaines's San Francisco house of 15 years was destroyed by fire and fallout April 7, 2022. Fortunately, they were traveling at the time, so remain safe and healthy ... but they've lost nearly all of their belongings and will need to find a new home, as theirs is now condemned.

 

Mike & Shannon have been a huge part of the Bay Area's technicolor subculture for over 20 years, positively affecting an untold number of people, trajectories, and events. Their contribution as such can't be overstated. As Vau de Vire's leadership, they're also in the throes of several large-scale super-demanding projects that don't and won't accommodate calamity, amplifying the dynamics of an already deeply stressful situation.
