Help Mike Rosenberg Rebuild After Eaton Fire

Hi, I'm Gina Nunery. A group of work friends and I have been calling and texting about our colleague, Mike Rosenberg, who lives in Altadena, CA. Mike and his lovely wife, Pamela, and daughters, Sarah and Lauren have lost everything in the Eaton Fire that wiped out that wonderful community. Like many residents from Altadena, CA, they are trying to rebuild their lives and hoping the insurance company will live up to the promises of their homeowners' policies.

My colleagues and I are spread across the US and have been checking in with Mike over the past several days to determine what we can do to support him through this overwhelming devastation.

Mike is a humble guy and won't tell you about his needs but will feel blessed because his family is safe and staying with relatives until they can find more permanent housing. But we all know the reality. When you leave with a few precious belongings, photos, and important papers, reality doesn't hit until you reach for those everyday items that are no longer there. The loss sinks in. The overwhelming sense of the effort it will take to rebuild your life and career can be paralyzing.

Knowing that you can pay for your basic necessities and needs can make the difference in moving forward, providing hope, or settling into despair.
