Help Mike Represent Canada at the 2025 Pan Am Championships

Hi everyone!

Our son Michael is a long-time competitive player at Surrey Water Polo club. Recently we received exciting news that Michael has been selected to Water Polo Canada's Cadet (15U) Men's National A-Team and he is invited to play at the upcoming Pan American Championships that will take place in Bauru, Brazil from August 21st to September 8th, 2025. We were thrilled and honored at the same time to see our son being chosen to represent Canada at such a high-ranked tournament.

When we signed Michael up for this tournament, we learned that the projected cost is approximately 9,000 CAD per athlete and it is to be covered entirely by the family. In addition, Michael is expected to play in other out-of-town competitions - for instance, National Provincial Championships in Montreal this July where he will represent British Columbia - which adds up to the financial burden and may make the cost of playing with the national team prohibitive. Michael has been working very hard for years to get to his current level, earning his club gold medals in local championships (this is how he got noticed by the national team scouts), and we'd love to support him in his further sports career and give him the opportunity to realize his potential on a higher scale. This is where we have to ask for your help to offset the cost of the Pan American Championships.
