Mike was always an active, vibrant person who cared deeply for others. He would ask everyone how their day was, and his love for animals was unmatched. For 30 years, he has been my partner and my rock. But on Sunday, March 1st, everything changed when Mike suffered a devastating stroke. Now, he is unable to move or communicate except by blinking his eyes. We are facing an uncertain future, and it breaks my heart to see him like this.

Mike has no health insurance, no life insurance, and no nest egg to fall back on. We have worked hard our entire lives, but this tragedy has left us with nothing. Our mortgage, car payment, and daily expenses are piling up, and my social security is not enough to get by or provide the care Mike needs. We also have five beloved pets who depend on us, adding to the worry and stress I feel every day.
