Help Mike recover after apartment building fire!

Our friend and colleague, Mike Heymsfield, had a devastating three-alarm fire in his apartment building over the weekend in Silver Spring, Maryland. Thankfully, he and his companion dog, Webster, were out of town when it happened and they are safe. The fire tragically took the life of one resident, her two dogs, and a cat. At least 15 others were injured, and the blaze displaced 400 people including Mike from their homes.

Mike's apartment was on the floor below the fire, and is one of 89 which has been condemned. Mike and Webster are currently safe and have secured another apartment in the building he will be able to move into.

Inspectors are still evaluating what furniture and belongings he might be able to recover or must be replaced due to chemical smoke contamination. He doesn't have insurance to cover the costs.
