Help Mike Rebuild His Flooded Workshop
Donation protected
Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by. My name is Mike, I’m a Cymbalsmith from Pennsylvania. I’ve been making handmade instruments for the last six years in a small workshop here in Philadelphia.
Unfortunately, just a few days ago, a water pipe exploded in the ceiling of my workshop, causing some serious damage.
Luckily, it wasn’t completely totaled, and my most expensive machine survived. The integrity of the building structure is okay, and the electric has been undamaged as far as we can tell.
The problem now is treating the shop for mold, making sure it’s totally dry, and replacing the materials and equipment that were lost in the flooding, all while paying for the shop itself without being operational right away.
This is why I’m currently raising funds. To get the shop back to 100% working order as soon as possible so I can finish the orders that have been paid for, prepare for this season of in-person workshops, and get back to 100% production capability.
Thank you so much for considering helping out. It’s very much appreciated.
