My name is Mike, and I am reaching out for support as I work to rebuild my life after many years of hardship. As a child, I experienced trauma that led me down a difficult path. And turned to drugs at a very early age, which eventually caused me to become homeless from 2012 until 2024. Despite these challenges, I have found the strength to get sober and have been clean since November 14, 2024.

Currently, I am living in a sober living facility and doing everything I can to change my life for the better. I am involved in Alcoholics Anonymous, attend church, and participate in group and treatment classes. My faith and the support of my community have given me hope, but my time at the sober living facility will end in April 2026, and I have nowhere to go after that. I am determined to find work and continue my recovery, but I need some help to get started.

I am asking for support to help me get a car, which will allow me to find and keep a job, see my son, and take care of my responsibilities. I also need help with housing so I can have a safe and stable place to live and not be homeless again. Any support you can give will make a huge difference in my life and help me start a new chapter.
