The Los Angeles Distinguished Gentleman's Ride Host Team and the Venice Vintage Motorcycle Club are raising funds for motorcycle safety escort Mike Palmer, who was struck by a fellow escort officer on Sunday (5/18), suffering a fall and injury while clearing traffic ahead of the DGR ride pack. Mike suffered 3-4 fractures to his femur close to his hip. Following surgery to reconstruct is femur, Mike will likely need a hip replacement. He is expected to not be able to ride a motorcycle for 6 months and his bike was totaled. Please give what you can to help Mike with his recovery.
