My brother Mike’s wife, Tina, passed away yesterday after a long battle with every cancer you can imagine. After a valiant fight against breast, liver, bone cancers and leukemia, she died suddenly yesterday while she seemed to be having a brief recovery. Mike and Tina have five children, from 20’s to under 10’s. My brother, an Army veteran, has been unable to gain employment for several years due to the requirement to provide constant care to his wife. If all that wasn’t bad enough, he crashed his only vehicle a few days ago on one of the many trips back from Houston’s Anderson cancer center. These funds will be used to cover expenses for the family and children, and to facilitate repair of their only vehicle.
