Hey everyone. This fundraiser is for a good friend of mine that I consider family. His name is Mike Matt. He is going through a difficult time and needs our help. Without going into too much detail, he is currently unhoused in Indiana. Mike is the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back and bend over backwards for you. He is kind and is always helping everyone around him. I'm sure he's helped you in some sort of way, even if it's just making you laugh when you're going through a difficult time. Well, now he needs our help! Let's get Mike to California where there is a new beginning for him. Here he will have a place to call home, support, and a ton of new opportunities (state jobs). He already has a few job(both doing what he loves- helping people) offers in the area and now all he needs is to get here! If you can help, even with just a little bit, it would really be appreciated and give Mike the opportunity to start a new life in sunny California. Mike does not have a car, so the funds collected from this will go to either a bus, train or flight from Indiana to Sacramento, CA. Food, interview clothing and a few things for the bedroom at his new home. Pretty much any expenses needed for the move and start of his new life.
