Hi Everyone. I'm writing on behalf of my cousin Mike. As you may know, Mike has been the sole caregiver of his father Dominic for the past 20 years. Unfortunately, Uncle Dom's health is in decline and it appears we may be near the end.

As you can imagine, the physical, mental, and financial toll on Mike and his mom has been immense. Being a full-time caregiver meant that Mike has only been able to work part-time since Dom's condition made it difficult to be away for extended periods. He has dedicated his life to the proper care of his dad. He's been in charge of every health decision for decades, and he has sacrificed a great deal to ensure that his dad's care was the best that it could be. Between funeral planning, travel, medical and household costs, Mike is shouldering a tremendous burden that is sure to increase.

The distance from Chicago to their home in Watervliet, Michigan has made it difficult for family to help out in any meaningful way. Now is our time to help. I'm hoping we can come together to help lift the financial burden from Mike so he and Aunt Linda can focus on saying goodbye. Anything you can give would be tremendously appreciated.
