Help Mike Honor His Loyal Friend Samson

My name is Mike. I am new to this and don’t really know what all to say. I am just trying to raise funds to help honor My Boy (Samson) properly. Samson recently ran away and we could not find him for a day and a half. He usually does this and I can manage to get him within minutes after he runs off. Sadly, I received a messaged stating they found him lying behind a house unresponsive. When I got there I found him and confirmed he was gone. He was 11 years old. He was a full bred Chocolate Labrador. I initially got him when I was married to be our “family pet”. At the time my youngest and Samson basically were raised together so we just said it was her dog. Of course, me as the man of the house, he knew who the alpha was. He was close to me and honestly, was a bond I never intended to have. He was a really amazing dog to me, my children, and friends who met and interacted with him. Unfortunately, my ex and I decided to split and divorce. Samson stayed with me and helped me in more ways than I would’ve thought an animal could. He would greet me when I got home, saw me at my worst, and we played and acted as if we were young and were just a kid and his dog. I grew close in the years I have been divorced than I did when I was married to Samson. I would talk and vent to him like I was crazy sometimes. When I was at my lowest and down he would come up and rub his head into my arm as if to let me know he was there for me. It made me sad to know he ran away. It made me even more emotional when I found him out in the open somewhere not moving or being his usually energetic self. He was full of love and acted like he was still a pup and just wanted attention from anyone who offered it. I want to raise some money to help with his cremation as well as a memorial I intend to make for him. I want to make the memorial and put it where he used to lay in his favorite spot. Again, I have never done this and anything would be truly appreciated more then you know. Thank you all in advance to help honor Samson the way he should be.
