Hello all, I am Mike Henry. I am currently 59 years old and have been married for 29 years. I have 4 children and 11 (soon to be 12) grandkids. None of them are biological, but they all call me dad or papa, and they are my world.

It is humbling to come here and ask for help, but these last 18 months have been very rough due to medical issues. I have missed over 6 months of work, and now I am completely out of work waiting for disability to kick in. During this time, my savings have been depleted significantly, and I am not sure how long it is going to take to kick in, but I will wait patiently. In the meantime, I am in need of hearing aids. Thank God that my insurance covers most of the cost, but I still have a $500 balance. I appreciate any help that anyone can offer. I do not want my grandkids to feel that I am ignoring them because I can't hear them. I have already missed too much, and I feel terrible when this happens. I am also looking for any extra help to get through the next month or so until my social security goes through. Thank you all, I appreciate you all.
