Help Mike Goodson Overcome Tragic Accident
Donation protected
On Wednesday, May 29th, my father, Mike Goodson, was in a horrible accident while working on his property in Suwannee. The woods caught fire, and he was on a skid steer when the cab suddenly filled with smoke. He was losing oxygen and couldn't breathe. He finally managed to get the cab door open and fell out onto the burning fire. Then the skid steer caught fire. He had to crawl to a burning tree to grab and pull himself up to get out. He was airlifted to Shands Gainesville where he still remains in ICU with 3rd degree burns on his face, stomach, hands, and legs. He isn't eating well and is in a tremendous amount of pain. He will be getting a feeding tube. His first surgery is scheduled for Monday, June 3rd. He's got a long recovery ahead.
As most of you all know my father, he is the most hard-working person I've ever known and hates to not be tinkering with something. He is always the one that gives the shirt off his back for anyone, always "cutting up" and making everyone laugh, he's always needing to do something. Right now, he's the one that needs help. My mom is retired and my father is the only one working. All the medical expenses are racking up and are going to continue to do so. If anyone would like to help my father and mom out or even just pray, it would be greatly appreciated. All donations will go straight to my mom and dad to help cover these unexpected expenses for this tragic accident.
