Help Mike Get Home and Back on his Feet

Hi, my name is Christina, and on August 1, my Dad, Mike Watts, had a life-threatening, life-altering motorcycle accident in Sturgis, South Dakota. My Dad almost lost his life, not only on-scene but in the days following the accident due to complications. He broke his neck, has a spinal cord injury (thankfully, he is not paralyzed), had strokes following the accident, and has numerous broken bones throughout his body. My Dad has been fighting a good fight and has been slowly getting better. He has been in ICU at a South Dakota Trauma Centre since he was airlifted there after the accident. He is finally stable enough to be transferred via medical jet back to Canada. After returning to Canada, he will be taken to a ventilator weaning and rehabilitation Centre as he still cannot breathe independently and will require months of rehabilitation. Unfortunately, neither his insurance nor OHIP covers the medical jet's cost. I am asking for donations to help cover the jet's cost, as well as medical and device expenses. I also hope to raise funds for lost wages as my Dad will probably never work again. I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, and/or donating. Having someone you love dearly be so seriously hurt and so far away from home has been devastating, and I would love to be able to bring my Dad home.
