This awesome guy is my new-ish brother-in-law Mike Alexander; he and my SIL Sara (Kim's also awesome sister) are battling esophagus cancer. It was originally misdiagnosed and unfortunately Mike has temporarily lost his voicexbox. They hope to rebuild it so he can be singing like he always does as he does his amazing handy work.

Mike and Sara were originally planning to get married in April, but this obviously changed things around for them. They actually ended up having a wedding in Mike's hospital room last month!

I've only known Mike just over a year, but I learned quickly that he has the heart of a lion. This has been a major setback for them though, and they could really use some help as they need to make up for holes in insurance coverage.
