Help Mike Receive a Service Dog

Last year, after a severe mental-health crisis, Mike survived an incident that led to an ischemic stroke. He now faces major vision loss and weakness on the left side of his body. A trained service dog would guide his steps, steady his balance, and bring daily companionship.

How to help:

• Share leads to reputable service-dog orgs, grants, or trainers.

• Send Prayers for Mike and his family to be led, healed, and helped.

UPDATE 09/16:

Mike is doing better now!! He's been out of the hospital for a few months and spends a lot of time listening to music, attending church, and can't wait to be healed so he can return to the studio as a music producer. Updated photos will be coming SOON!!

Mike's Story:

November 3 of 2024 I tried to commit suicide which ended up being to me having an ischemic stroke which affected the right side in the back of my brain, causing me to have vision loss, significant vision loss and left side of weakness in my body, the reason I've had the stroke was from a suicide attempt due to stress and mental health issues and I was trying to see therapist and psychiatrist, but I felt like nothing was helping and I felt like no one really cared about me. I felt alone so I try to do what I did and now I'm paying for the repercussions and now I'm trying to get all the help I can get to get a service dog so I can see and have a little bit of independence and you know have a companion to brighten up my day a little bit.
