Help Mike Furino Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hey all, I'm Jonathan Nerren. We're here to help one of my best friends, Mike Furino, get back on his feet. He was affected, like many, by Hurricane Helene in Western NC. From flooding and house damage to his shop tools, work supplies, and essentially all of the car parts for his beloved "Rosie" Mustang drift car. The above picture shows how bad his flooding was days after.

Mike has already reached out to FEMA for support but his claims were denied for any help since he didn’t own/rent the building where everything was. It’s unfortunately a grey area he fell into and I’m trying to help fill that void. He did get a grant of $750, but we all know how far that goes for repairs. They also denied his claim for the hotel he stayed at while trapped in the mountains in excess of $1500. Once some roads out of the area opened, Mike made his way to my house and stayed with me until his power was turned back on.

Mike is currently stripping his basement down where all the water damage is and attacking the rebuild himself. However, he mentioned, the only thing he cares about is getting his shop and car back in order. He is looking for support towards his tools and paint guns/supplies he uses to help supplement his income as well as wanting to get back on track with his drift family. He lost everything with the car. i.e engine, transmission, engine management & harness, fuel cell & fuel system, safety equipment. All of his electric Ryobi tools, impacts/drills, SATA paint guns and paint supplies, Mig Welder to name a few.

Many of you have donated to supporting causes. I appreciate everything you all are doing to help out western NC and victims of this terrible Hurricane. Dropping us a line showing support will always be appreciated and if you have the means to help one of the most selfless guys I know to get back up and running, myself and Mike will be truly grateful.

Also, if you are company in the industry or know of one to support rebuilding of his mustang "Rosie", parts support towards the rebuild to its former glory is welcomed.
