Help Mike Francis During His Healing & His Hardship

Hi my name is Larry Billings. I am humbly initiating this fundraiser to help a dear and beloved friend who has fallen on hard times. My step brother and friend, Mike Francis, recently moved out of Washington State due to the high cost of living. He took his wife and brother with him to a little town just north of Reno, Nevada where the cost of living is more suitable for them. Mike was out walking his dog on Saturday May 25, 2024 and slipped on some mud, fell and broke his leg in two places (Tibia and Fibia). Mike was due to start a new job on Tuesday 5/28. This broken leg required surgery, and Mike being a military veteren was able to get help from the VA hospital nearby. His brother Steve is the only one of the three currently able to work. Because they moved from Washington State it’s taking time to transfer everything and get settled in. This leg break has put Mike out of commission for about 8 weeks.
