Three years ago, my nephew Mike suffered a hypoxic brain injury that changed his life forever. Since then, he has been living with severe short-term memory loss and is unable to work or support himself. Mike also has a 6-year-old daughter whom he cannot support due to his condition. As a result, Mike now faces the very real threat of homelessness while we wait for disability support to be approved. Our family is doing everything we can to help, but we need the support of our community to give Mike the stability and safety he needs.

The funds raised through this campaign will help cover temporary housing so Mike has a secure place to stay, as well as living expenses like food, clothing, and basic necessities. Your support will also help pay for medical evaluations and transportation to appointments as we work toward a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Most importantly, these funds will provide daily support for Mike while we wait for Social Security disability benefits to come through.
