Mike and Elisa Gurley are retired seniors living in the Wrightwood community, where they have recently faced devastating storms and a severe mud flow. The storms left their home surrounded by four to five feet of mud, causing significant damage and making it extremely difficult for them to manage on their own. As retirees, Mike and Elisa have limited resources, and unfortunately, they have not been able to afford insurance to help cover the costs of this disaster.

The aftermath of the mud flow has left them with a daunting cleanup and the need for many repairs to their home. They are also hoping to use any support they receive to build structures that will help prevent similar incidents in the future, so they can feel safe and secure in their home once again. Every bit of help will go directly toward restoring their home and protecting it from future storms.
