Help Mike During His Battle with Cancer

Starting Friday, Mike wasn't feeling well. Thinking it was just food poisoning he just rested. Until Sunday at 1:30 AM when he decided it was time to drive to an ER. He got to a little ER about 2ish they did a CT on his intestines and saw some blockages. They decided that he needed to be transferred by ambulance to a major hospital for surgery to figure out what the blockages were. At the hospital, they decided this was an emergency situation and rushed him in right away. The surgery was finished by that afternoon and resulted in our current diagnosis of colon cancer. The cancer is confirmed but specifics are not. However, the cancer growths are not in the best places and are up against things that didn't let them remove it surgically yet. So the road ahead is to recover from this, then chemo, then more surgery to remove the shrunken cancer growths. He is still in the hospital and is expected to be there for a bit further while recovering from this major surgery before he can come home and he can start the actual cancer treatment. Our future is scary but hopeful.
