Help Mike David Fight Cancer

My cousin Mike David more like a brother to me my whole life has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma.

Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma is an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkins Cancer a subtype of T cell Lymphoma.

Mike has been going through chemotherapy and has not been able to work since the middle of January.

Mike is a long time employee at Armstrong in Bradley, Illinois who will possibly be closing the doors as ofJune 17th which at said time will lose all medical benefits. The only source of income coming in is his wife Kim who is working but it’s just not enough. She has had to take many days off to take care of Mike bringing him to & from chemo treatments and losing pay to do it. They have had to make multiple trips back and forth to Chicago for appointments and will go through 6 rounds of chemo as of now. After chemo Mike will be having a stem cell transplant which will put Mike in the hospital for 4 weeks or more. To top that off no sign of luck has been in sight to help his on going battle. Before the weather got warm the heater went out at their home and the roof was damaged from the storms we had in April. Mike has been battling not only Cancer but the fact of how he is supposed to pay for all of the medical bills that are piling up and being able to pay for the gas that it takes to go to all of his appointments plus fixing his home.

Mike has had wonderful friends and family that have helped some along the way so far but it just isn’t enough. Mike is pushing his pride aside to ask for help, and if you know him like I do, you know how hard that is. He is a bit hard headed in that nature.
