Help Mike Colby Recover from Triple Bypass Surgery

Story

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I am trying to raise money for my dad, Mike Colby. On Friday morning, April 18th, my dad suffered a heart attack and was rushed to the emergency room by an ambulance before he was admitted to the hospital... Since Friday, my dad has undergone x-rays, MRI's, cat scans, exploratory surgery, and has been subject to a plethora of testing to keep an eye on his heart and health. After finally being stable for long enough, my dad underwent triple bypass surgery on Monday morning. He will now spend the following days healing in the hospital before he can come home and begin outpatient treatment. This has been a huge shock to our family and such a scary time. Myself, brother Jason, and mom have been in the hospital with him every day to keep him company and give him our support as much as we can. In addition to his already prolonged hospital stay, my dad will be unable to return to work for at least 8 weeks. He will be working hard with the outpatient team members to regain his strength back. If you know my dad, you know this is really hard for him. He is an extremely hard working and independent man who never takes a day off of work. This is certainly not the vacation he needed! For him, everything that could've went wrong, well, did... Life certainly hit pause, but we are so very fortunate it hit pause and not stop. Between the medical bills, other lively bills, and the loss of a source of income, the house is faced with a financial dilemma on top of our persisting emotional situation. I am kindly asking on the behalf of my family for any type of financial assistance to help the household stay afloat while we diligently work with my dad's in/outpatient routines to help him get back on his feet, back home, and back to working on his cars and toys!
