Help Mike Chilson
Our brother and friend Mike Chilson is having a serious medical issue.
Specifically, Mike was diagnosed with a vertebral artery dissection secondary to a cranial cyst that is causing pressure and extreme pain to the head.
Mike is suffering daily with extreme headaches and doctor ordered work restrictions.
Anyone that knows Mike, knows that he doesn’t sit around. He is always helping someone. He will literally give anyone the shirt off his back.
Mike has been serving his country and his community for nearly 30 years.
A proud Army veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division and a paid on call and professional firefighter, he is now handcuffed with his doctors ordering him not to work nor even lift more than 10 pounds for nearly 3 months.
As anyone who has dealt with the bureaucracy can imagine, his short term disability and growing medical bills are not matching up well, while still having two daughters in college and a home life to manage.
I’m asking any of you that know Mike andhis beautiful family to give a leg up to help thru this time.
Mike is still being pushed around the medical community to get to a potential course of treatment and repair.
Mike is a proud man, like a lot of us, won’task for help. So I am asking for him and his family.
Please help however you can for this great man and hero.
