In Memory of Michael "Mike" Carpenter

On May 10th, 2025, we lost our dear friend Mike Carpenter — a kind soul who touched many lives.

Mike came to New York from Dublin in 1989 to Yonkers, NY, and later settled in Pearl River to raise his family. He was a skilled carpenter, specializing in refinishing wood floors, and had built a stellar reputation in his industry for his dedication and perfection.

He was a loving husband to Elaine for 20 years, and together they had two beautiful children, Calum (17) and Eden (15). Mike's love for his kids was unwavering, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Tragically, Mike passed away suddenly from natural causes, leaving his young family devastated. During this difficult time, we want to support Elaine and the kids as they navigate the coming years, especially as the kids finish high school and prepare for college - a future that feels uncertain without him.

We are reaching out to our community for help to provide some stability and support for Mike’s children during this challenging period. Any contribution would mean the world to them and help ease the financial burdens they will face.
