Mike and his loyal dog Boyd have always faced life’s challenges together. About two years ago, Boyd sustained a serious leg injury. Although the injury has healed, he still can’t walk for long without pain, making it hard for Mike to get around with him. For a while, they managed by living in Mike’s van, but now that the van has broken down, they’re left without a safe place to stay or a way to get through daily life.

Without a working vehicle, Mike and Boyd struggle to do everyday tasks like buying food, getting to doctor’s appointments, or searching for work. The lack of transportation has made their situation even more difficult, especially with Boyd’s limited mobility. A new van would mean so much more than just a way to get around—it would give Mike and Boyd independence, stability, and a chance to rebuild. With reliable transportation, Mike could save money, care for Boyd, and even pursue job opportunities again.
