My name is Franchesca Esplin and I am neighbors with Christine and Mike Bowers.

Mike was almost killed on Tuesday by their bull.

From Christine:

“This is very hard for me to do, but I am asking for help in paying for our regular bills and essentials as well as help with the upcoming medical bills. The bull fractured all his ribs but 3 and crushed his sternum. He had a 10-hour surgery to rebuild his upper torso. 16 new metal ribs as well as plates screwed onto the ribs that were left. He now has a metal breastplate where his sternum was. If you know us, you know my husband is an avid weightlifter. This will be a long road for him to recover, but the muscles on his chest wall were what literally saved him from being killed.
