Help Mike Beat Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma

Hi, my name is Joe and I’m fundraising for my older brother Mike. Mike was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkins Lymphoma and will be undergoing chemotherapy starting this Thursday, January 26, 2023.

Mike is a driven young professional, a talented musician, and a very generous friend. At 15, he took it upon himself to look after our mom when she was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer and had to undergo chemo. At 18, he took it upon himself to create a memorial service for three high school friends when they tragically passed away in a car accident. At 23, Mike rented a house for our mom and him to live in while he finished school. His selfless acts are unending and he’s never lost sight of his dreams along the way.

Mike graduated with a bachelor of economics from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2018. Since then he’s worked tirelessly to build his career while still supporting our mom and even moving in with our 94-year-old grandmother to support her too. A year ago, he secured a financial analyst position and has been eagerly working to improve our mother’s living situation and pay off his student loans.

After receiving his diagnosis, Mike has been in great spirits, knowing he can beat this. His only fear comes from the financial burden he is about to receive and how it would impact his family. We wish to alleviate Mike from any financial worries and have him focus on his health.
