Hi everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of my good friend Mike Barry. Mike was recently involved in a terrible accident and is lucky to be alive. He has been badly injured and will need to learn how to walk again. As you can imagine, his life has been flipped completely upside down.

While riding his bike from work the other week, Mike was struck by a truck. The impact left him with fractures to his spine, hips, and head. He's now facing a long, excruciating recovery and is unable to work and take care of himself physically.

To make matters worse, he lost his job shortly after the accident, along with his health insurance and income. He has no financial support and has to somehow pay rent, buy food, medications, and pay for physical therapy.

I am starting this GoFundMe because I know many of you know Mike and know what a great person he is. He is humble and proud and would never ask for help himself, so I hope that you all can help contribute to his cause. He needs our help now more than ever.

Funds will go towards:

Rent, groceries, and basic living expenses

All funds raised will go directly to:

Physical therapy and recovery support

Medical expenses and ongoing treatment

Transportation to and from doctor appointments
