Help Support Mike in His Fight Against Cancer

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my Dad, Mike Scoggins, a beloved musician, painter, and a true staple of the South Austin community. This month, he was diagnosed with cancer, and while we’re moving quickly on his treatment, we need some help to get through the financial burden ahead.

He does have insurance, but we have to meet the out-of-pocket minimum before coverage kicks in. On top of that, he’s going to miss a lot of work, which means covering basic living expenses like rent and bills will be tough.

If you know my Dad, you know he’s the kind of person who would do anything for someone in need. He’s kind, creative, and has spent his life bringing music and warmth to those around him.
