My uncle, Mike Cox, has fallen on incredibly hard times. After dedicating ten years to his job, he unexpectedly lost it and despite his best efforts, could not find another. Shortly after, he lost his home. As if that weren’t enough, his wife has become very ill and is now in kidney failure.

They are currently living in their car in Texas, struggling just to get by. Every day is a heartbreaking choice between food and a motel room. They are doing everything they can to access state and private resources to rebuild their lives, but they desperately need help to secure even the most basic stability—a safe place to sleep, meals, and the support to regain their footing.
