Help Michael get back on his feet

Hi, my name is Debbie, and I want to help my brother, Michael, get back on his feet, both physically and financially.

Michael and his wife, Adele, are heavily involved with their children and the community and are the most giving people I know. They have stepped up to take in family members in need multiple times, and it is time for us to show them how much we appreciate their generosity and support.

Michael started mountain biking last September to enjoy an activity and bond with his teen daughter, who was on her school Mountain Bike Team. He quickly became one of her team's coaches and started to ride and help her train during her off-season of mountain biking. During a team ride on Saturday, April 23rd, on Fox Trails at Road Atlanta, Michael crashed on a very technical dip on the trail and was thrown over his handlebars about 30 feet, landing on his head. He had to be carried out of the trail about 3/4 mile on a medical bodyboard by six firemen. Michael is fortunate to be alive. He has a broken back with three vertebrae fractures, a broken breastplate and several broken ribs. Time will tell how long this health journey will be, but medical bills and therapy will be significant. Michael has kept his sense of humor, and we are thankful that he will walk again. I want Michael and Adele to focus on getting him back on his feet rather than on how they will ever be able to pay these medical bills. Michael is self-employed and will need time to recover before getting back to his clients. Please help me raise funds, and no amount is too small. Keep the prayers coming. Thank you!
